Quivering lips with tears not yet shed. She stands upon the mountain as her legs dangle over the ledge.
Her head fills with words worth a thousand winds.
Chin raised to the sky, absorbing the sun’s rays.
Something inside shattered as she neared the earth’s crest.
One swift movement and there was nothing left.
She began to free-fall into the earth’s core.
Arms spread wide in search of more.
