A parent’s worst nightmare is
receiving that dreaded phone call
about their child being involved in
bullying at school.
ANNOUNCER:      Children often feel stuck in a
cobweb of emotion due to
childhood experiences.
ANNOUNCER:      But positive change begins at home and requires a child’s needs met
continually by caring adults.
ANNOUNCER:      
Research indicates bullying can
lead to or worsen feelings of
depression and anxiety, which can contribute to suicidal behavior.
ANNOUNCER:      Suicide is the third leading cause of death among children, resulting in more than 4,000 deaths per year.
ANNOUNCER:      10 to 14-year-old girls maybe at
even higher risk for suicide.
