It’s that time of year again when City College journalism, graphic communication, and photography students submit the newspapers they produce all year and go against Northern California media.
On Sept. 21, City College won 10 awards in 10 different categories.
The Journalism Association of Community College’s NorCal convention was held at Sacramento State over the weekend. Journalists, graphic designers and photographers from about 40 community college got together to hear speakers, participate in workshops and contests, and receive awards.
The City College print newspaper, The Express, came home with the following awards:
