Northern Californians were placed in an immediate Flex Alert Monday from noon to 7 p.m, that will carry into Tuesday, July 2.
As the western heat wave intensifies, the Independent Systems Operator Corporation reminds Northern Californians to conserve energy Tuesday from noon to 7 p.m.
There are no reports of there being an alert Wednesday, but that may change. The National Weather Service predicts a high of 111 degrees for Wednesday.
